The 29th Marine Expeditionary Unit, MARSOC mission is to simulate a combat unit environment that utilizes as much of the military life style as possible. The programs & doctrines adopted by this element are brought forward to assist in MilSim realism, create unity among its members, live the rolls assigned as if it were real life. Training on military tactics & discipline to develop unit cohesion on and off the field is the core in all the efforts to create the MilSim environment and allow the role to be as true as possible. The unity of the team is paramount to the success of the vision and operations on the battlefield. Not a team, but a UNIT!
The recruitment program is now CLOSED and potential recruits must meet the age limit of NLT 18 years of age, present identification to validate. All recruits must recognize and understand what the 29th MEU MARSOC is about, the vision, goals, uniform requirements and weapon requirements. The program to get through the recruitment process is long and tedious but is designed to recognize ones commitment and values that would be brought to the unit. All recruits are handled with process and evaluation through the designated training Staff NCO element under the S3 classification. If a recruit shows signs of non compliance in any of the requirements, it is highly possible that the said recruit will be released from the program.
