The 29thMEU is a Military Simulation Unit. This Unit is only a simulation and participates in MilSim events. It is strictly a sport/hobby and by no means affiliated with any political, military or militia type organizations. All members & recruits actively participate in military style simulation. Our internal structure is utilized to build discipline and create a cohesive element that operates effectively and efficiently on and off the simulated battlefield. Members of the 29th MEU Military Simulation Element come from backgrounds of both current and former military organizations as well as a diverse group of civilians. This is our hobby!

| Operation Eastwind V, 2012 |
Several members of the MEU attended OEW this year and I must say, it was an epic event. ASwayze and his crew set up and orchestrated the absolute best program I have ever participated in. The setting was 1980's West Berlin, Berlin Brigade, with the 315th Radio Relay Company set on the verge of WWIII. With the onset of the campaign, there were instructors teaching many varying skills needed for the week. Such as map reading, orientation, compass, pace, hand and arm signals, patroling, combat skills and more. There was a good variety of countries represented with period correct uniforms, weapons and chow. NATO included the US, West Germany, Great Britain, Canada and the WARPAC included East Germany and the USSR.
The program took place on the acreage of D-Day Adventure Park in Wyandotte Oklahoma. This place was pretty big in size with terrain features that proved challenging day in and day out. I could go on and on with this. For anyone who has contemplated attending OEW, you will not be dissappointed once you attend. Go to the web page and check it out. www.operationeastwind.com . Join the forum and sign up for the biggest adventure in the United States, if not the world! Truley AWESOME!
